Eleven for '11
We are pleased to announce that we have boosted the performance of our industry-leading ProVision suite of boundary-scan development tools with the addition of 11 enhancements.
The first of these is the addition of private instruction handling within ProVision’s JTAG Functional Test (JFT) capability, now giving users easier access to device registers. For example, registers needed to invoke on-chip emulation modes and programming registers can now be accessed using JFT’s Python routines.

Clue Corner: Streamline your production environment
While preparing your boundary-scan applications it is most common to use a bench-top configuration such as ProVision coupled with a boundary-scan controller such as the JTAG Technologies TSI (Triple-Serial Interface) High-Performance instrument. However, this type of set-up may not be the most efficient in a production test environment.
Ideally, you would integrate the boundary-scan test phase within an existing test platform such as In-Circuit Test (ICT), Flying Probe Test (FPT) or Functional Board Test (FBT) to eliminate the introduction of an additional stop in the flow that requires more handling and time... Read more | |

Our contract manufacturers are experienced users of JTAG Technologies systems and some of them not only have production tools, but also JTAG Technologies development tools. Besides the CM's listed on our website there might be more CM's active in your territory with our tools, but these don't have valid SW maintenance or did not want to be listed on our website. | |
