Condor 2001x - Now Shipping - Success Story
Recently Tech Source was approached by a customer looking for a high performance conduction cooled integrated graphics VPX solution. Their requirement included specialized video output including monochrome and inverse monochrome outputs, and high performance graphics to support digital moving maps. The program was for a tactical fighter jet video recording mapping, retrofit program. Tech Source proposed the Condor 2001x (see detailed description below of a similar product, the Condor 2100x) integrated onto the

XMC cavity of a VPX single board 3U . The standard PMC I/O Connector was replaced with an XMC I/O connector with a VPX compatible pinout matching the SBC. The integrated board set, now called Condor-VPX can be configured in differing variants, and is available to all prospective customers. Windows, Linux, and various RTOS (VX Works, etc) are offered. The solution offered the customer a single slot solution for CPU and GPU, plus satisfying key requirement of 2 STANAG 3350 Class C outputs.
This solution illustrates one of the advantages of working with Tech Source, we are able to tailor graphics and video solutions as necessary to demanding requirements. Moreover, working with Tech Source gives you, a customer, the opportunity to work and interact directly with our hardware and software engineers both pre and post sale. More on Tech Source below.
This program will be a significant contributor to Tech Source sales revenue for several years to come.

Radar Tracking Solutions to
Cobham for UK MOD ATC Upgrade
Cambridge, United Kingdom - Cambridge Pixel will supply its SPx Track primary radar tracking software to Cobham as part of a major upgrade to part of the UK Ministry of Defence's Air Traffic Services.
Under the prime contract, Cobham will replace legacy systems with its RDSTrack product and provide ongoing support. Intended to be fully operational in March 2011, the new system will enable access to surveillance data from remote sites for the purpose of providing Air Traffic Control, Royal Navy Fighter Control and Range Safety Services.
Cambridge Pixel's SPx Track solution allows video data from the radar to be processed and potential targets to be identified. Target information is then provided to Cobham's RDSTrack data fusion and distribution system to form a complete situational awareness display.
Commenting on the project award, Cambridge Pixel's Managing Director David Johnson says "We are pleased to be working with Cobham on this important MOD upgrade program. The feature set of our tracking software has allowed us to provide enhancements to the Watchman radar processing to support detection of surface and air targets in complex clutter environments".
Cambridge Pixel Primary Radar Video Processing And Display Solutions

Cambridge Pixel FAQ's
Who is Cambridge Pixel ?
Cambridge Pixel is a UK company specializing in radar processing COTS software products. These include radar scan conversion, tracking, distribution, recording as well as PCI and PMC radar A/D digitizers.
Where did Cambridge Pixel come from ?
Cambridge Pixel are a group of engineers from the former Primagraphics, Ltd. They formed to fill a void to supply COTS radar processing products to OEM's and Military/ATC system integrators and primes.
What separates Cambridge Pixel from other radar companies ?
Cambridge Pixel is unique in many ways. It is primarily a software company offering a range of products for various radar processing functions as described above. These products are modular by design, meet open COTS objectives, and extensible by our customers ! The company does not build or sell radar scanners, but rather offers its customers the capability of enhancing or integrating a radar processor specific to their needs to a new or legacy radar as required. As such, it is not a closed black box solution, (although we can integrate hardware if desired).
Have you had any sales in North America ?
We can site many reference sales in the US and Canada including the Navy, Lockheed Martin, Coast Guard, and many other contractors that we could talk about on an individual basis.
