Mensor
Deadweight Testers
CPB 5000
 |
Mensor Deadweight
Testers are
available in a
variety of
configurations.
Pneumatic and
Hydraulic
versions of the CPB
5000 have max
pressure of 1500 and
15,000 psi
respectively. Both
units are available
with uncertainty of
0.008% of Reading
when used in
conjunction with the
CPU 5000. The
CPU 5000 is a
control unit that
automatically reads
environmental
conditions and makes
corrections for the
pressure generated
by the CPB 5000.
CPB 3000
 |
The
CPB 3000 is
a portable unit with
weights mounted
directly on the
base, has
hydraulic media with
pressure range up to
15,000 psi and an
accuracy of 0.025%
of reading.

The
CPU 5000 used in
conjunction with the
CPB 5000 makes life
easier for the
Deadweight Tester
technician.
The CPU 5000
Calibration Unit is
used to achieve the
ultimate performance
with either the
pneumatic or the
hydraulic CPB 5000
Deadweight Testers.
The unit
automatically
calculates the
pressure based on
current
environmental
influences such as
gravity, piston /
cylinder
temperature,
Barometric Pressure,
ambient temperature
and relative
humidity. Simply
enter the desired
pressure and the CPU
5000 responds with
the required mass
load.

Why Should I
buy a Deadweight
Tester?
There are a good
number of high end
electronic pressure
calibration
devices in the
marketplace that
deliver high
accuracy pressure
calibration
capabilities,
including those
available through
Mensor. So, why
would anyone be
interested in a
deadweight tester?
Here are a few
reasons to consider
a Mensor Deadweight
Tester:
-
A Deadweight
Tester delivers a
percent of reading
accuracy over their
entire range
-
A Deadweight Tester
requires no
electricity to
operate (for use in
remote "field"
locations)
-
The Calibration
interval for a
Mensor
Deadweight
tester is 5
years (reduced
cost for
recertification)
-
A Deadweight
Tester operates
over a wide
pressure range
-
A Deadweight
Tester is a primary
standard i.e. it
generates pressure
in its purest form,
by applying a force
over an area: P=F/A
