GPGPU Computing (take advantage of 320 shader processors on the ATI E4690 processor for DSP like computing)

- GPGPU is emerging technology and ours is based on the Open-CL open standard
- Excellent white paper describing GPGPU computing
- Equally excellent PDF presentation explaining benefits of    ATI approach to GPGPU computing (courtesy of David Parkerson @ Altis Technology)

Re/Vue real time DVI screen recorder

- Significant firmware update that allows for recording of video (such as radar) along with graphics
- See below for details, significant for recording in ATC, C3, Training/Simulation and related applications

H.264 Video Compression, Recording XMC board

- Tech Source is seriously considering a new product based around the standard for H.264 video compression
- Condor VC100x Preliminary Datasheet
- If you have requirements it is NOT to late to influence features and the design
- We would value any input and expression of interest or requirements for such a card.
- We envision applications such as downlink/compress sensor data from UAV's, or as the basis of a SBC based video recorder which we are also planning.
- Any and all feedback encouraged, please to me Bill Fox

All the best,

Bill Fox

Re/Vue DVI Screen Recorder Update

Re/Vue is a video recording product that fulfills the specific capture, compression, and data archive requirements found in ATC, training and simulation, and command and control environments.Re/Vue
Re/Vue consists of video and audio recording hardware,
supporting driver, and control software. It delivers lossless recording and compression with remote and local data storage. Re/Vue integrates with an existing workstation and monitor and records from any DVI (digital) source at resolutions up to 2048 × 2048. It also has a web-based control interface to manage and control single or multiple Re/Vue systems through a password-
protected web-based browser.

New Feature The Re/Vue is a lossless video recorder, however, it can be switched to a lossy recording mode to help alleviate problems related to data overflow when there is a need to record more complex data types such as video in a small window. This lossy feature is known as Temporal Difference. By default, the Re/Vue is set to record any frame to frame difference in pixel value as a changed pixel. However, you can set the threshold to ignore small changes with any color channel if your application does not require a truly lossless solution.

Rackmount or Desktop as pictured above.

Cambridge Pixel Radar Processing

Who is Cambridge Pixel ?

Cambridge Pixel is a UK company specializing in radar processing COTS software products.  These include radar scan conversion, tracking, distribution, recording as well as PCI and PMC radar A/D digitizers.

Where did Cambridge Pixel come from ?

Cambridge Pixel are a group engineers from the former Primagraphics, Ltd.  They formed to fill a void to supply COTS radar processing products to OEM's and Military/ATC system integrators and primes.

What specific products are offered ?

Radar Scan Conversion Software
Radar Video Distribution over LAN
Radar Processing
Radar View Display Application
Plot Extraction and Target Tracking
Radar Interface Cards both PMC and PCI
Screen Recorder

What separates Cambridge Pixel from other radar companies ?

Cambridge Pixel is unique in many ways.  It is primarily a software company offering a range of products for various radar processing functions as described above.  These products are modular by design, meet open COTS objectives, and extensible by our customers !  The company does not build or sell radar scanners, but rather offers its customers the capability of enhancing or integrating a radar processor specific to their needs to a new or legacy radar as required.  As such, it is not a closed black box solution, (although we can integrate hardware if desired).

Have you had any sales in North America ?

We can site many reference sales in the US and Canada including the Navy, Lockheed Martin, Coast Guard, and many other contractors that we could talk about on an individual basis.

How does Tech Source fit in ?

Tech Source is the North American representative for Cambridge Pixel. Tech Source has 23 years serving these markets.  Tech Source is a strong engineering company capable of supporting our customers here, and avoiding ITAR and similar issues since we are US based.  We also have plans for a graphics XMC card enhanced for radar display processing based on Condor 2000 technology.
