New EBX embedded computer– great performance, low power!

On April 3rd VersaLogic will release the new Python, a RoHS-compliant EBX platform. This rugged SBC provides an excellent migration path for existing VSBC-6 users and serves as an entry-level EBX product for new projects. Powered by AMD’s LX 800 CPU, the Python boasts dual Ethernet, on-board video, CompactFlash socket, and a new expansion standard called SPX™ (in addition to PC/104-Plus). Windows (Embedded) CE Board Support Package

The RoHS-compliant, PC/104-Plus Puma platform is compatible with most operating systems on the market today, including Windows CE. To speed up development time, VersaLogic now offers a Board Support Package (BSP) for Windows CE running on the Puma. Windows CE is built from the ground up for small footprint devices, such as medical devices and industrial controllers. CE is a scalable, open, 32-bit OS that integrates real time, reliable capabilities with more advanced Windows technologies.
