The reason: IntelliScale, with
a percent of reading uncertainty and
365 day calibration interval, is
being added into more and more of
our precision pressure controlling
calibrators, our precision
indicators, our precision
transducers and in our custom
systems.
IntelliScale
saves money:
Percent of reading accuracy
= fewer sensors to cover the same
calibrated ranges.

IntelliScale in the CPC 6000

CPC 6000 with IntelliScale
IntelliScale in the
CPC 6000 is " 0.01%
IntelliScale-50".
To abbreviate this we use " 0.01%
IS-50".
This describes the 0.01% of
reading uncertainty that extends
from 50% of full scale (FS) to
100% of FS. Below 50% the
uncertainty is 0.005%FS.
Because the CPC 6000 has 2
channels and 2 sensors per
channel, a total of 4
IntelliScale sensors can
be configured so that the
percent of reading portions are
contiguous, resulting in a
percent of reading that can span
from 1500 psi down to 95 psi.

CPC 8000 IntelliScale
The
CPC 8000 High Pressure
Calibrator has an uncertainty of
0.01% IS- 50 in the
primary and/or secondary
sensor. The CPT 6180 is used for
the internal sensors and are
available with ranges up to 6000
psia or psig. A configuration
with a 6000 psia primary sensor
and a 3000 psia secondary sensor
will give 0.01% of reading
uncertanty from 1500 to 6000
psia for 365 days.

CPT 6180 with IntelliScale
accuracy or high speed
The
CPT 6180 Precision Pressure
Transducer has an uncertainty of
0.01% IS- 50 and
delivers readings via RS-232 or
RS-485 communications at 10 Hz
or 50 Hz. The technological
improvements that gave birth to
IntelliScale were first used in
the CPT 6180 and it is used
directly in the CPC 8000 High
Pressure Calibrator (see above)
as the primary and secondary
pressure sensing elements. An
optional High Speed, 250 Hz
version is also available with
an uncertainty of 0.025% FS for
365 days.
CPT 6180s have been used in wind
tunnels and precision flow
meters and a variety of OEM
applications that require an
internal precision pressure
sensor.
