What's New

CSL Current Sensors Offer Enhanced Accuracy and Lower Cost Sensing

Honeywell has introduced three new, miniature, Hall effect linear open loop current sensors – the CSLS, CSLT and CSLW Series. Compact in size, they offer ac or dc current sensing with a linear ratiometric output and have built-in temperature compensation to promote enhanced reliability. These RoHS-compliant sensors offer enhanced accuracy and low-cost sensing for a wide range of potential applications including motor control, heating/ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), overcurrent protection, robotics and industrial process control. HIH Sensors the High-Volume Choice

Honeywell’s HIH 4000 Series RH Humidity sensors are robust, thermoset polymer-based capacitive sensors designed for high-volume OEM applications. Direct input to a controller or other device is made possible by the sensor’s linear voltage output. The sensor package offers on-board signal conditioning and a recessed die to promote better handling protection.

Plans are under way for a second-quarter launch of the HIH 4030 Series, a surface-mounted version of the HIH humidity sensors. Request a product sheet.

Reduce Output Offset Errors with DCXL-DS

Honeywell's DCXL-DS Series SURESENSE™ Ultra Low Pressure Sensor can help reduce output offset or common mode errors in medical, HVAC, industrial instrumentation or environmental control applications.

With a unique stress concentration-enhanced structure that provides an enhanced stable linear output proportional to applied pressure, the DCXL-DS is often able to significantly reduce output offset errors due to changes in temperature and warm-up.

Learn more about these highly stable and accurate sensors by requesting a copy of the DCXL-DS Series product sheet.

Integrated Circuit Sensors a Cost-Sensitive Solution

The SCC Series of silicon pressure sensors are the answer when your application demands internal temperature compensation at a competitive price.

Available to measure both differential and gage pressures, SCC Series sensors were designed for extremely cost sensitive applications where precise accuracy over a wide temperature range is not required.

Typical applications may include use in pneumatic controls, automotive diagnostics, medical and dental equipment as well as environmental controls.

For more information on the SCC Series, request a copy of the SCC Series product sheet.

Fact

Football is the most popular spectator sport in both the United States and the United Kingdom, but you won’t see the teams meet in a World Cup. What Americans call football is known as rugby in the U.K., and the Brits’ football is known as soccer in the U.S.

Question

Which is your favorite spectator sport?
