Q: What
is MICRO SWITCHTM technology?
A: MICRO
SWITCHTM is a brand of electric switch components
that are actuated by the physical motion of mechanical devices.
The actuation of the switch typically causes an "on" or "off"
action. MICRO SWITCHTM components are generally
packaged in a small form factor to allow placement in small
spaces. |

What's New
|
HCH-1000 Series Humidity Sensors
Easy
installation, long-term stability and enhanced accuracy and
response time make HCH-1000 Series humidity sensors the right
choice for applications not requiring on-board active signal
conditioning. In (SIP) Single In-line Package form and composed
of polyimide humidity sensing material, the sensor is available
in cased and uncased versions for potential applications
including medical, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, air
conditioning/movement, hygrometers and weather stations.

Dual RVDT Position Transmitter
The Rotary
Variable Differential Transformer (RVDT) Position Transmitter is
25 percent smaller and lighter than comparable devices, boasting
enhanced reliability and simplified repair and maintenance.
Fewer parts in this multi-purpose, environmentally sealed
device, and no brushes or slip rings to wear, enables faster
maintenance. Built to aircraft specification, potential
applications for the RVDT include position sensing for primary
or secondary flight controls.

MICRO SWITCHTM Technology in Action
|
The Switch is On ... And On ... And On ...
With more technology, electronics
and machines than ever before, mighty MICRO SWITCH™ technology
still plays an important role in our lives today. You probably
did not realize that you most likely actuate MICRO SWITCH™
component dozens of times a day. Does any of this sound
familiar? Fearing you will oversleep and be late for your
business trip, the "beep, beep, beep" sound made by the backup
alarm on a garbage truck outside triggers the start of this busy
day. That backup alarm is only the first of many MICRO SWITCH™
product applications you will encounter today, most of which,
you will take for granted.
