AUTOTESTCON
Highlights Latest Product Innovations
The mid-September Anaheim show was the perfect
venue for Geotest to introduce several new
products, including a 3U/6U combination PXI
Smart chassis, two new digital products, a 3
GHz RF power-analyzer module, a legacy instrument
replacement product, and a new release of ATEasy.
Of great interest was the new RF power analyzer, a
3U PXI card that provides the ability to perform
CW and pulse power measurements, frequency
measurements, and pulse-repetition period
measurements on RF signals from 100 MHz to 3 GHz.

Legacy Instrument Product Replaces Obsolete HP8116
Geotest's latest addition to our line of
legacy instrumentation replacement solutions, the
GP1616H is a 100% form-fit function replacement
for the obsolete HP8116 function generator. With
the firmware of the GP1616H being fully compatible
with that of the Hewlett Packard 8116, Test
Program Sets (TPS') that make use of this legacy
instrument require no code modification when
replacing the HP8116 with the GP1616H. The GP1616H
Series utilizes Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) for
stability and accuracy over the full frequency
range from 1µHz to 50MHz. The instrument offers
amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, as
well as trigger, gate, and burst modes. |
