Vetland Medical

 

We’ve just completed a case study about Vetland Medical, a company using embedded computers to monitor anesthesia for surgery on animals. The Vetland system uses a Linux-powered ADS Sphere, posted here: http://www.applieddata.net/landing_applications.asp

I’d like to focus on two of ADS’ greatest strengths that markedly differentiate ADS from the competition to help you start the selling year off right - - - ADS’ architected capabilities and our world-class support.

 

Semi-Custom, ADS-architected Solutions 

Many companies in our space charge high design fees to develop new products, without guaranteeing the success of the final design or guaranteeing whether it will be a solution for that company. ADS has proven design successes in numerous vertical markets (fleet, defense, medical, industrial, gaming, golf carts, kiosk/retail) that provide customers with low-cost, quick-turn, semi-custom products. These variations of semi-custom products allow our customers to have exactly the features they want, without those high design charges and with a proven successful product in that market.


ADS Support

Competitive companies often offer low prices for products, then charge for support as line items and extra charges billed per call, per hour. Their customers have told us that they find delays in responses (when they are under deadline for product introductions), and the support that they receive is often inadequate, coming from engineers who don’t understand the company’s products.

ADS has learned from their mistakes: since expanding our Support Department, we have established a world-class resource, easily accessible to customers, with engineers who are well-trained on the ADS product family, and who understand how to help customers develop on our products. Over the years, we’ve expanded our Forums into a vital and valuable community of users.
