AR Offers Several Upgrade Programs to help Customers Keep Pace with Changing Demands

With test specs constantly changing to higher frequencies and higher power, test labs are forced to discontinue existing amplifiers for new models that meet the latest specs. AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is helping its customers keep pace with changing demands with several upgrade programs.

The company is currently offering customers who own a S1G3 series amplifier (0.8–3 GHz) a special opportunity to save when upgrading to a S1G4 series amplifier (0.8–4.2 GHz). When customers purchase a new S4G8 series (4–8 GHz) or S4G11 series amplifier (4–10.6 GHz), AR will retune their existing S1G3 amplifier to a S1G4 amplifier for a small fee. The retuning will fill in the frequency gap between 3 GHz and 4 GHz, enabling uninterrupted coverage from 0.8–8 GHz for those who purchase a new S4G8 model and all the way from 0.8–10.6 GHz for customers who purchase a new S4G11 model.

Helping Customers Keep Pace with Changing Demands

With test specs constantly changing to higher frequencies and higher power, test labs are forced to discontinue existing amplifiers for new models that meet the latest specs. AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation is helping its customers keep pace with changing demands with several upgrade programs.

The company is currently offering customers who own a S1G3 series amplifier (0.8 – 3 GHz) a special opportunity to save when upgrading to a S1G4 series amplifier (0.8 – 4.2 GHz). When customers purchase a new S4G8 series (4 – 8 GHz) or S4G11 series amplifier (4 – 10.6 GHz), AR will retune their existing S1G3 amplifier to a S1G4 amplifier for a small fee. The retuning will fill in the frequency gap between 3 GHz and 4 GHz, enabling uninterrupted coverage from 0.8 – 8 GHz for those who purchase a new S4G8 model and all the way from 0.8 – 10.6 GHz for customers who purchase a new S4G11 model.

Expandable Power is another technical innovation that gives AR customers an advantage in today’s touch economy. Beginning with a basic “building block” – the 1000W1000C (1000 watt, 80 – 1000 MHz) – allows customers to add power in 1000 watt increments up to 4000 watts by adding additional 1000W1000C units and a controller. Our high power “S” series amplifiers (200 – 800 watts, 0.8 – 4.2 GHz) are also designed to be expandable and upgradeable as well.

AR’s third type of upgrade program, “subampability” will enable customers to upgrade their high frequency “S” series amplifiers to higher power. Beginning with 2 basic “building blocks”, models 20S4G11A (20 watt, 4 – 10.6 GHz) and 35S4G8A (35 watt, 4 – 8 GHz), customers are able to easily expand to either 80 or 120 watts respectively, by adding sup amps and a controller/combiner unit.

AR RF/Microwave Instrumentation has also revised its popular field monitoring equipment trade-in program to include equipment from other manufacturers. Customers can save up to 30% on AR field probes and monitors when trading in old equipment. Previously, only old AR equipment was included in the program – the offer now extends to equipment from any major manufacturer.

Anyone interested in trading up to AR’s new technologically-advanced field monitoring equipment, including three revolutionary laser powered E-field probes (5 kHz – 18 GHz), 6 battery-powered E & H field probes (100 kHz – 60 GHz) and an advanced field monitor, can get more details on the trade-in program at AR’s website.

AR Competitive Edge products supply a multitude of unique RF solutions to companies around the world. The company’s limitless support network reaches the far corners of the globe. AR products are backed by the company’s “Competitive Edge” warranty, the most comprehensive warranty in the industry. When companies purchase from any AR company, they have the peace of mind that comes from knowing the global leader will be there to help with any problems today, tomorrow and always.
